We are currently hiring four contract naturalist positions to help deliver quality field educational programming.
How our program Works
Field trips are booked From April - November annually. Our team of naturalists are scheduled to help deliver environmental education curriculum at three distinct Marin County Parks and Open Space Habitats: Roy’s Redwoods, Bolinas Lagoon, and Duxbury Reef.
We bring two naturalists on each field trip and need to have a bi-lingual naturalist at each event.
Our naturalists lead the field programming, engage with the students, utilize iNaturalist, and help us make curriculum updates based on current field conditions.
A love for the environment and sharing that knowledge with a diverse group of students and age ranges (4th - high school grade levels) .
Experience leading youth field trips and working with students.
Bachelor's degree in environmental education or wildlife biology and include coursework such as environmental science, ecology, vegetation and earth science.
Completion of the College of Marin Natural History Program or certification by California Naturalists.
