Become a Duxbury Docent!
Docents protect the Duxbury Reef’s sensitive intertidal habitat and marine life by educating visitors on the reef about the reef’s fascinating marine life, protective tidepooling practices, and California’s marine protected areas (MPAs). This intensive five-day training will begin on Friday January 9th and continue on multiple weekend dates through February 8th.
Or, Become a Duxbury Reef Tabling Educator
This option requires a less intensive training and time commitment. Duxbury Tabling Team educators, will be stationed at an informational table at the trailhead at Agate Beach/Duxbury Reef parking lot, and will engage with and educate visitors on their way down or up from the reef and beach. Limited openings available.
Trainings will take place at Duxbury Reef and in classroom settings in Bolinas.
