We are always seeking dynamic, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to help deliver our mission through contract work, volunteering, internships, and assistance with our board and committees.

Join our Marin MPA Watch team to help collect data on coastal resource use in California's Marin Protected Areas (MPAs) at Limantour, Drakes, and Agate beaches and Corte Madera Marsh. Volunteers have to train at specific locations, but can then set their time to volunteer with the low tides. This is a great way to get some exercise and collect useful data for marine management.
Join us to help our watersheds & wildlife through our bi-annual roadside clean-up events across West Marin. These spring and fall clean-up events remove thousands of pounds of trash from the watersheds, and your participation is an easy way to give back and see your impact immediately.
Join our Duxbury Reef Docent Program to help protect the intertidal area at Agate Beach and Duxbury Reef, the largest shale reef on the West Coast. Volunteers go through extensive training in January-March, then set dates to staff the beach to provide public outreach and education.
Join our intern team through one of our three types of internship opportunities throughout the year. We typically offer fall, summer, and spring internships.
Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival+ EventS
Throughout the year, we host several donor and public events where we need volunteers to help with various tasks. Our annual Point Reyes Biridng & Nature Festival always needs field volunteers, guides, and keynote volunteers to assist with this event.
