COLLECTING DATA
Use the options below to print data collection forms, refresh your data collection training protocols by reviewing our training manual, review the tide charts before you head out, or download iNaturalist for use in the field.
california fishing SEASONS
Before heading out for your beach walk, you can check the recreational and commercial fishing seasons provided by California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
ENTERING DATA
We encourage our volunteers to return their surveys via mail or drop them off at our office. Any volunteers trained to enter data directly to our online portal must be sure to upload copies of their survey sheets.
HOW TO REPORT POACHING
If you observed poaching activity while conducting your survey, you can report via the Cal Tip app on your phone or call in the violation.
